algae scrubber

I built one, and it works awesome, grows a ton and fairly easy to clean. I looking to redesign the build though.

I don't have one but was messaging with him today. They are pretty nice units and he seems to be all about customer service.

I was curious if anybody has an algae scrubber from http://clearwaterscrubbers.com/shop.html ... are they worth the money..are they loud.. easy to clean? Any input will help!!

They look good, but I could not find any detailed info on site about the scrubbers they are selling? Like recommended pumps, GPH, lights, size of screens, etc.

Could well be that it's there and I missed it.

I have a Turbo ATS. http://www.turbosaquatics.com/

It works for me, but I don't have enough info to compare it to Clean Water scrubbers.

Good Luck,

Mike

Agreed. Their site had very little information. Would like to see other options as the patent has apparently run out.

The original Walter Adey patent 4,333,263 from 1980 that you might be referring to has expired, yes. There were related ones even before that, that are of course expired too. And there are other related ones since then that are either issued or pending.
