algae sheets

Hello everyone,
I currently use nori sheets (green) for my tangs, I buy them at a local Asian food store they cost 5.99 for 50 sheets, Now I also like to feed my angels red and brown sheets and I buy them online but it's almost 5.00 for 10 sheets.

Does anyon.e know if there are different kinds that you can buy in bulk of the red and brown maybe something like the nori sheets

Sounds like your feeding alot.They like meat also and if over fead wont help with algea control as much. The more mixed there diet the better.

No I dont think I feed them that much, I have 4 pretty big tangs in a 150 gallon tank, my angels also eat it, they get meat everyday when I feed my triggers. I also like to buy in bulk.

try a different asian food store. I buy 200 sheets at a time at my local store and it costs $12

Our local Albertsons and Vons markets sell a plain brown nori in their International section.
