When I had a lawnmower blennie in my old tank I used to let a little hair algae grow on the overflow and the loc-line and the powerheads. He never let it get on the rocks. It was kinda funny to watch him munching off the powerhead when it came on and would blow him halfway across the tank. He seemed to take it well. I like to have a good sheet of coralline on my back glass and other algae never really seems to get on it. I just got a foxface a couple of weeks ago and when he goes into the main tank I will probably let it have control over all the algae-scaping duties.
