If the photobucket you use is the same as mine then under the pic are three things, url link, html tag, and img code. The one you want to copy/paste is the img code.

There are some threads floating around, as I recall some tangs eat it, possibly rabbitfish. There wasnt much else. Niether of those would be appropriate for your 12g. So pretty much that leaves manual removal or get new rock. Unless someone can post other experience.

Manual removal is sometimes extremely difficult. Even then, it tends to come back anyway. I'm curently battling it myself. It's on every rock in my 70gallon, so rock removal is not an option.

From what I here, PACIFIC black long spined urchins work well, but also would be a pain in your small tank.

Naso tangs reportadly eat it, but no chance of that in your tank.

I'm afraid there is no great answer as of yet.

I was thinking kalk paste may also be an option, but in a small tank water quality could suffer quickly. If the rock can be removed then you could manually remove as much as possible then apply the paste over the growth area and let it sit for a little while in a seperate container with some salt water and maybe alittle flow.
