alge issue

latley i have been getting some nuciance alge in the thr form of brown and hair alge, the brown is on my glass and overflows killing my coraline, ...could dying coraline alge due to low calcium lvls cause the growth of the brown over it?
the hair alge is most;y growin on the power heads. (near the surface)
in the over flow teeth and on my loc-line.

my water parameters are normal calcium was low when i tested 2 days ago..about 350ppm, ive been dosing kent marine liquid calcium to raise the lvl. 0 ammonia 0 nitrate 0 nitrite 8.4 ph

i have been feeding green alge sheets, and the problem seemed to start around the same time i started feeding that. how much could the alge sheets be contributing to the problem

Probably a combination of Phosphate and low Alkalinity.

you should probably do a water change

Check all parameters and make sure they are optimal. As well run a phosban reactor. I always read zero phosphates but once I got my phos reactor I noticed significant decrease in algae growth.
