Alittle common courtesy

I just want to let everyone know that it just takes a little common sense & courtesy when we are dealing with each other through this forum. I found a NEW person that had a post with this phrase ;
"Well I just want to put myself (how rude.....I'm sorry) on your list of willing recipients to anything and everything ...."
I had some salt water items I didn't want and tried to help him out with them. I have been trying for over two weeks to get him to come get them. I have been lied to,mislead,told he was calling numerous times to which he never, and even canceled my plans & waited home all evening at the beginning of this charade because he said he was going to come by. Now I am simply going to trash these items and forget it. But again, this club has some great members who are very honest and sincere in their hobby and it only takes one bad apple to ruin the bushel so I just wanted to let you all be aware of who is now in your club and their actions with others through the forum.

Ted .....You must be crazy! I have sent you countless PMs and have called you and gotten the answering machine. You never said what you had or wanted for it. I'm sorry that I couldn't give you 2 complete magnum 350s for a few rocks and top off unit!!! Those things are over $100 a piece new plus you initially said "lights" You live about an hour away from me anyway.....now why I would want to drive an hour to pick up some rock that has been sitting for weeks out of a tank and a top off unit that I can build for $40..????? Plus I called and left a message that I was unable to make the trip that weekend (3 weeks after my "quoted PM") as I was going to Greensboro to sell a car. You get on the forum and try and bash??? You need to be on a ciclid forum for that kind of aggression. Calm down! Its just tank stuff and plus you said that you were going to trade it at your LFS???? Good luck in the Fresh Water world.

Hey Bill,
I would post them but to be honest as you can tell by steves reply, I have been trying to help a total lunatic with some items that he himself is on the site begging people to simply give him. I had a whole box full of items including an overflow, 9.5 pump, rock, sump, top off and simply asked him for 2 magnums that he wads piecing together from scrap according to him and he has haggled, begged, you name it offering me 1 old used single bulb strip light or 1 magnum because according to him that is all he has. I was going to accept it just to get this stuff out of my way as I don't do salt water anymore and he simply would make dates to call and never call or show or what have you. So instead of going through that mess again, I figured I would simply toss it. Steve, I wish you and your psychiatrist the best.
