which alk test kit is easy and accurate to use? i am still using API, recently, i started to adjust the dosage, i would like to monitor it more closely.

I like the Hanna Checker Alkalinity Colorimeter. You can find it in a number of places, but I ordered mine from Bulk Reef Supply.

Very easy to use as it simply displays a number in ppm. No counting drops or comparing color charts. You just have to multiply your ppm number by 0.02 for meq/L or 0.056 for dkh.

Are you having issues w/ the API kit? IME, it's +/- 1 dKH, good enough for most reefing needs, and not spendy.

No for monitor a stablized tank, i agree a API is sufficient. I am introducing the dosing system, that is why i need more accurate measurement to tweak the doser.

I agree I used the API was good enough but just got the Hanna checker it's very accurate worth the money

I was wondering if anyone had compared the Hanna to a pH titration. Haven't tried Hanna yet
