All 120 Livestock FS

Hey Dana,

That would be great! I have some nice pieces that may need to be cleaned up some. I personally would also consider cooking it as I did this with the rock two years ago. The pieces have about 80 to 90% coraline coverage. The main piece has about 15 zoanthids on it. There are five or six really big pieces and probably about 10 small 5 pound and under pieces. There is one show piece. I think you will like it though It should be cleaned thouroughly as I am sure it will shed some in the new tank. My bio-load is really low though for a 120 'sps' so it may be in pretty decent shape.

Who can meet tomorrow for 3PM at the coral reef on papermill drive?

My # is 205-886-5164. I will be bringing all the LR, unless other wise stated, a some rock for runner and a coral or two, and a deepwater possibly a couple of frags, and maybe the three wrasses if Izzy does not want them.

Brad

I'll meet you there Brad for the dw acro frag. If the wrasses are still avail I'll consider them as well. Thanks.

Dave

Looking forward to seeing you guys sat @ 3 at the coral reef on papermill. It will be nice bc if you guys don't want anything extra I can probably just hook the fish store up.

I will be bringing two 18 gallon rubbermaids and all the livestock, fish, coral, & rock.

You guys can have the rubbermaids if it makes acclimation easier as they will be backed, one with mostly rock the other with fish and coral. Could you please bring your own container if you only want one or two things.

Thanks,

Brad

Leaving in 20 mintues at 1 for 3 meet in Knoxville at RC. I have more corals than I thought with some pretty decent stuff and I could not fit all the rock in the 18 gallon tote, the rock weighs at least 100 #'s. The other 18 is for the corals and fish. Look forward to seeing you guys

Thanks, Brad, for the frags. Check back and I'll shoot a pic for you in a year or so and you can see how they turn out.

Dave

Thanks, Brad, for the rock and zoanthids. My tank looks much better now. The red/white zoanthids are very unique looking.

Hey np guys. The cleaning actually took about 6 hours so not too bad though I am just getting done and its 3:45 am so I was actually pretty close to my estimated time. The 120 looks pretty good and I think I will be selling it shortly if anybody is interested, though I have yet to price it out. If not I will sell it when we get back. I will have some time to work on some cool mods on my skimmer and extra equimpment- Maybe I will end up with another cube like you when we move to Beaumont.

Brad

Hey Brad, the clowns spawned today (for the first time that we know of). It looks like a nice nest. From the system log, it shows exactly 6 weeks from the move 'till today. Thought I'd let you know. Thanks again!

Matt

The anemone and other colonizers of the rock are doing well too; and the offer stands if you ever decide to have another pair of black ocellaris ;)

Matt,

I am glad they are spawning for you and that the move did not throw them off too much. They are a very pretty pair and will be missed. I am out in Irvine California if you need me to check anything out for you while I am here please let me know. I actually really miss those guys and the tank. The offspring should be some really nice variants with hopefully some misbars. Thank you for keeping me updated. Please let me know how the offspring go as I tried but could never get them raised. Thanks again Matt

Brad

btw I may eventually one day take you up on the offer of a juvenile pair of my offspring as that would be pretty cool. I am planning on setting up a fairly large tank in Texas in about a year or two.

I'll let you know how the larval rearing and growout goes. Sometimes it takes a few nests to produce healthy ones that are worth raising, but we'll keep our fingers crossed :)

Thanks Brad, small world, my family lived there for a few years, but it has changed a lot since the late 80's (even I can remember fields of orange trees and strawberries, and John Wayne airport was for small-plane traffic only!).

wow I went to John Wayne today and it has gotten really huge. It seemed bigger than knoxvilles. I really want to set up a new tank in Texas but am really concerned about operating costs as electricity there is really sick.

I took this shot a while ago and forgot to post it, but the pair has been spawning regularly and having bigger hatches each time. The first nest had 6 full-term eggs resulting in 6 healthy juveniles (not a bad yield on that one!). Next batch had maybe two dozen, and then up from there...

We have some bigger/older batches now that are looking good. Hopefully we will be getting some professional photography help soon, so then we'll have photos worth sharing ;)

If need be when I get back to Kingsport Matt I can come by sometime and take some professional shots for you if you like. Those misbar's are amazing and its nice to know I can help give back to the hobby. I would love it if you could help me on a couple of the tricks on breeding as I tried for a while but could never get the offspring raised. It is such an joy to watch the new hatchlings, those will be really nice B&W A. Ocellaris. Just like the mom and dad 1/2 misbar, really cool. If there is anything I can do to help with anything please let me know. I will be selling a skimmer, 120 w 30 sump, and some really nice lighting and extras for a reasonable price when we get back to kingsport "very large stand dnw octopus 200, lumenarc stealth light and VHOX4, just some stuff let me know if you can use any of it. Thanks so much for the pictures and for naming them Brads clowns, how very cool... I am have a cold and that made my day.
