Some progress on the 20 gallon nano tank and stand I've been working on recently... I'll be staining it next week. I'm thinking dark stain to accentuate the reef and fish colors. Any comments or thoughts on this?

thats really nice, how are you goignto keep the whole tank from draining in a power failure?

or are the holes in the bottom returns...

a check valve on the return... risky, I know. The return will be dispersed through a spray ring along the bottom.

I'm afraid that if I go darker and don't like it I won't be able to make it light again. Does anyone have their cabinetry stained dark that I could see pictures of?
