JUST wanted to let you guys know that the new store has a now open sign.

Store is located west of I75 on pines blvd

Pines Blvd just west of 75 on the south side of the road. Decent selection of fish. they had some nice Janns Pipes for 25, Elongated dottybacks (Dont see very often) and Lined Dartfish (labled fang blennys).

To whom has been there how does their drygoods section look? I just hate having to drive up to All Emporium in Tamarac.

Thanks

fish selection is no where near to the one in tamarac...this one isnt exculsive to fish its all pets dog fish cats reptiles birds u name it

Most of the fish where full of ick. Poor blue tangs where pretty banged up. I would wait before buying fish. SW is .69 a gallon but PH is around 7.2. They mix there own. RO is .59.

I really want to like this store as I love the all fish store. But this store is not great. It's good but there are so many pet stores. They need to do something exceptional but miss the mark.

I will give them time. They need to develop.

I was there opening weekend and thought the store was great, helpful staff, good fish, and a pretty good selection of corals. I am sure they will add more selection as they go, but overall a very nice store.

You guys peaked my interest so I when there yesterday and I was not sure what to expect.

The store was nice enough the fish were pretty good, the fish side looked like a mini Big Als. Some decent sales on some of the fish. I heard they were getting a cool shipment later this week so I may have to go back. Their FW plants and coral choices were exactly the same as the plantation store, which disappoined me a bit. Maybe they were picked over so I will give them the benfit of the doubt..

I did not ask, ReefaHoy, but I did check out those lights and I think they are Ecoxotic Cannon LEDs

Just came out a few months ago, had only seen picture but not in action. They were pretty cool.. would look good as a single cannon over a nano tank

Attached is what I think the lights they are using looks like

Was there last week...Every fish had ich! I feel sorry for the people who buy livestock there. The sales staff will gladly sell you any diseased fish you want.

was there today and a lg selection of them were in hypo and are being medicated including a beautiful md-lg scribbled angel and md-lg personifer angel....the were 249-25% for the opening sales and then 25 off for spending over 100 so you could have picked him up for around $161 ......only wish I would have been there when they came in before they put them in their systems

a lot of the fish were affected with new tank syndrome ...... ick from stocking up the DTs before the biological was ready....give them 6 mo and they should have a nice selection

they will not sell the ones in hypo nor are they marine biologist dissecting the livestock before selling it....

I do agree with you though that any stock with any visible signs of sickness on the livestock shouldn't be sold........

..... but I can also guarantee that you yourself have purchased livestock infected with hundreds maybe even thousands of parasites in the past and you didnt even know about it from whatever lfs you buy from.... it just was not visible......

mrx66699 when you ot your new fish with no signs of illness what meds do you use or no med at all ,and do you ot them for 3 weeks ?
