All Softies Tanks

Mock

Saltwater Junkie
I cant for the life of me understand why the SPS forum has like 6 stickies at the top of the page of "Best tanks from around the world" or " All SPS Tanks" yet we are left with just one "Show me your best Softy" thread.

Please, Feel free to post your FTS here on this thread and lets see if we cant get it stickied to the top like the rest and prove that all soft coral tanks can look just as good if not better than SPS tanks.

My 75

I´m going to love this thread :D. My dream tank is a "softy-tank"... not an "sps-tank".

I really like that little white Sinularia ¿asterolobata? you have. It will be gorgeus once it grows up!

mine almost counts. I do have a couple of lps, but mostly softies. don't remember ever seeing a softie tank as totm, but I could be wrong.

Few LPS are okay, wouldnt say that makes or breaks the rule of posting a photo.... There are LPS in the all SPS tanks too on their thread.

And there have been some softy dominated tanks that have won TOTM. More than you would actually think if you go back to the archives.

^ beautiful!!!
someday if i ever stop moving i plan on having a LARGE angle and butterfly tank.
loving the pics guys keep them coming!

Those are some awesome tanks... We need more photos like this on this thread!! I love the way the palys just flow out from the toad stool in the one and RDtrack, youre giving me a run for my money for sure... LOL

This is my 250 rebuild. This tank was an all SPS tank before I was diagnosed with cancer. Chemo and 6 months of neglect was the end of it. I have rebooted it as all softies and loving it.

Nice Tank Jack5746!

How big is your tank and what type of lighting are you using?

Thank you Jdantunes MY tank is 390 gallon plywood 8' long 38.5" wide, and 24" deep, my lights are 3 Aqua illumination Sol Blues and 3 175 watt metal halides that run from 12 noon till 4 pm. Tank is bare bottom with 12" ceramic floor tiles. I am also running a algae scrubber and tunze protein skimmer, which I shutdown last week for cleaning and have not put it back in yet, im going to see if not using the skimmer has any effect on the system. I have my ro plumed into my sump with a float to keep my water level up. Just need to figure out an easy way to siphon out all the detritus. The tank has been set up since Sept 2014 and my corals I have had about 2years.
