All your buckets are belong to us!

You: Have tons of 5 gallon Reef Crystals buckets laying around the house taking up space

I: Need those buckets and am willing to pay $$$ for them. :D

Lets do this! I need lots of buckets with the seal-able lids (like an RC bucket). The more the better - but very important to have lids that seal correctly. I can pay $5 each (nice deal, yes?). I need to store stuff in them that is very susceptible to moisture and these things work perfect!

We can meet up at the MARS meeting if it works out.

are these for your magic white powder? :D

Damn it! Exposed already!

Mental note: Brooke knows too much.

lol. I was thinking the same thing as Brooke but didn't want to say anything. Now that she pointed it out...:D

yeah, ever notice how mike is on rc until the wee hours of the morning? hmm.

ok, in all seriousness, bring on the buckets, people. i'm sure the project isn't as sinister as it sounds. :lol2:

If you only knew how close to the truth you were. ;) In reality, 5 gallon buckets of the stuff might actually be cheaper than my current, um, habits.

Yeah, *sniff*... bring on those buckets!

If you do use reef crystals anyways you can get buckets from fostersmith.com for $29.75 with the discount code. They don't charge extra for shipping either.

haha conjuring up a storm. what are you guys do up late anyways? I have an excuse...

really? I got a bag and that cost 18 bucks

My collection of buckets has been dwindling so I have none to spare, but I got mine when I worked at a restaurant.

Our Pickles, Radish, Mayonnaise were all shipped that way. I worked at a burger joint and we would go through a bucket of each product every other day or so. They all had seals and worked fine, The Relish and pickles retained the smell so I really didn't use them except for odd jobs, No livestock. Once we'd reorder those buckets the old ones were no longer needed. Instead of the trash I started collecting. You may want to see if you know anyone that works at a restaurant that that can get them.

I always was very nervous about the Relish and Pickle buckets but the Mayonnaise came in a bag inside of a bucket. So I used those for my fish needs, the others got donated to backyard work.

No buckets.. - all that white powder will surely solidify now. Does anybody know a local store that might sell the seal able types (the Home Depot buckets do not have a seal able ring :().

-or- restaurants, stores, painters, etc. that has clean buckets?

I bought a coral life 5gal bucket with lid for $2 at exotic, and they have whole bunch of them for sale. If you pay me $5 each I can deliver them to you, so how many do you want ?

Jack

There's a couple of discount restaurant supply places on Richards Blvd if Exotic/Jack's deal don't work for you.

I second the notion from Jackfishy, I live closer to Exotic anyway!
naw, I have a bucket, but it still has salt. But I am very close to selling my equipment. want a bucket and an aquarium?

$2 eh? Sweet deal... I will give them a call and see if they have around 10 of them. Are they the ones with the screw on lids with a rubber seal to make them air tight?

Thanks!

P.S. If this works out, I will kick down a frag for the tip if you are coming to the meeting this Friday. :)
