now here are some of the tank and some of the inhabitants. Mind you that i am not a photographer, and the cloudiness of the tank is due to microbubble (any suggestions would be appreciated)
also all of these pics were taken well over a month ago and a lot of work and rearranging has been done since and hopefully i will be making a rather large fish and invert order soon. Once again any suggestions on eleminating the microbubble would be more than appreciated
sorry erics3000 the best pics of the plumbing are posted a few pages back. as far as the sump i could try to take some of the sump. anything in particular you want to see
thanks for the info on that site erics3000 i definately found some interesting info there although unless i tear down the whole sump im not sure how much of it i can use
thanks for the feedback guys. im really glad to see that people like it, i know i do! im really hoping to get some feedback from some of the more experienced reefers on her about the elemination of micro bubble
wow out of all the experience on here i cant believe no one has any suggestions for the elemination of microbubble. That said for all the people on here that were worried about structual integrity of the system it has been running for a few months and no problems or "cracks" in the tank . also i lucked into a very large nice house that i possibly will be purchasing and will probably have to move this beast{wich i am not looking forward to} lol. so i will be making some changes as i do this. so any suggestions that are politely put would be much appreciated. some of the changes thus far will include a larger sump that will be relocated to the new garage and some additional support into the stand {i dont feel it needs it but may as well do it} and i am thinking of using some soft lines instead of all hard plumbing , more of a mix of the 2. so i will keep posted on this issue because i am not certain if it is going to happen. so until then comments on the microbubble and suggestions for upgrades if i move it are welcome thanks guys{and gals}
I have seen alot of rock in sumps were the returns enter. It helps make a sort of bubble trap. Have you double checked all your plumbing so there are no leaks. If you have any threaded pipes it can't hurt to take them all apart and wrap them again with teflon tape.
Hope that helps. You sure have a lot of big corals. I have been starting to buy little frags but they are way little. I think I will just buy a big one every month and save my money. I guess I need to order stuff online. Is that where you got yours at?
thanks for the feedback erics3000. As far as where we got my corals from we did not order them online jeremyblaze actualy ordered them from one of the suppliers he uses for the huge tanks at the interperitve center that he works for. and alot of the corals i previously had in my last tank{most of the softies}
