Almost 11 foot long tank!

If you coated the inside completely with resin, and then painted with epoxy I would think you would not have any leaks. What type of expoxy did you use and where did you get it. I am trying to decide to drill a 75 for a sump or just make a wood one.

honestly erics3000 for a sump that size if u have a 75 or know someone with one i would just drill it because it has been a ton of work and headache with my wood one(although very worth it for the size i wanted and the floor demensions i wanted to keep it in) . And honestly 75's are a dime a dozen for used ones you could just get a used one and reseal it very easily and pretty cheap and lets face it its a sump it doesnt have to be pretty

Tank looks really great man, Love the sump too. But I think we need crackbottom to give his opinion on this before you go any further..

well done man

thanks asmodeus. and yeah i keep waiting for his input so i can move this i dont know what i will do without it. lol. honestly i did appreciate his input but i really think that he should have went about it a better way, and some people need to learn that there really is more than one right way to do things. and to keep in mind that there is no one true expert on these things as every different aquarium is just a big living experiment

thanks leilani it has been a project that was planned for a long time and because of that it came together nicely, i just wish i would have had this move planned because the fun part begins next week , tearing this thing down and relocating it.

300 display ordered with 2 low iorn viewing panels , 75 sump, 55 fuge...

I will need to take my predator fish from my 55 and drop them in the current 150.

Thanks again

sounds nice erics3000 trust me you will love it, what demensions is your 300 you ordered? believe me you ought to see my tangs especially my clown tang take off across that 11ft span

96x30x25 I wanted to go 36 wide but was running out of room. So the 30 will have to do. I am making a office and using it as a room divider. I think I will listen to your advice. I have so many things going on like all of us and limited time. I will save the DIY for the some reactors and finishing my room.I will let you know when I start a thread. Out of town right now.

Yeah I couldn't imagine the tanks shooting 11 feet. They must reallly pick up some speed.

Thanks for the info.

yeah erics3000 they really get going someyimes especially if its close to any of their feeding times they can really get nuts. the demensions of your tank sound really nice you will definately have a good time with that.
