Almost time to swap out bulbs

So, I'm currently running 2 blue+, coral+, and purple+. I've been thinking of using an actinic instead of 1 of the blue+. Would this have a negative effect due to the par from the blue+? I also have 24 3w blue Leds running. I'm looking to change up the look but, don't want to lose any corals. Mixed reef by the way.

It all depends, do you want it more white, or more blue? Your current combo is hard to beat, and one of my favorites. I like my tank a little brighter/whiter, and have been swapping bulbs left and right to find my perfect 4 bulb combo on my 40br. Yesterday I went back to 2 blue+, GE6500k, and Purple+, and think I'll stick with it, as it is my personal favorite and very 14k. I keep intending to add a strip of blue leds, but havent had the time yet. Swapping an actinic for a blue+ on your setup would reduce the blue hue slightly, but you also might see some color separation from the mixture of 4 bullbs.

If you really like the deep blue purple look, try 3 blue+ and 1 Purple+. It is a good combo that really makes everything look radioactive, is a favored standalone combo by the 20K+ crowd, and is also what many use as supplementation to MH.
