Alpheus and Stenopus Hispidus

Hi everyone!
I need an advice, I have a 180l reef tank and I have a coral banded shrimp (3 year), I'd like to introduce a pistol shrimps (Alpheus); it's a good idea?

Pistol shrimp are more than capable of taking care of themselves. Their "pistol" claw gives even cbs second thoughts.

Alpheus is a great shrimp to add...I have a Alpheus soror and he is a hardy addition have it over a year...it isnt supposed to host with a goby apparently but mine does from time to time with my YWG...

Go get him...

Alpheus shrimp spend alot of time in burrows that are way to narrow for CBS to get into, that and they can stun them quite well.

I forgot to mention that I have a mated pair of Coral Banded shrimp in my tank and have never had any quarrels...

The Alpheus is kinda shy as well...

On a related note:
Stenopus are very likely to kill Lysmata.
