alrite alkinity a problem?

i want to add a kenya tree. calc is at 420ppm and alk is at 12.8dKH. is this fine? tank has been cycling for 2 months now.

the alk is high, you want it around 7-11 dkh. but won't cause a prob. to kenya tree's. are you dosing anything? if not just wait and it should drop on it's on, if you are just stop for a while.

Yep, what kau_cinta_ku said. The alk will come down on its own in time. I'd pull back on the dosing. What are you dosing, btw?

umm i was dosing super buffer to get my PH higher but i totally forgot about my alk. so yeah i stopped dosing that for a week now.
