Alternate Electricity Suppliers

I am thinking about changing electricity suppliers. It appears there are significat savings of around 30% for the cost of electricity to Comed. In the early days I read about horror stories of fees and expecially early terminaton fees.

After reviewing several Universal Disclosure statements, it appears no fees except minimal early termination fees of around $25.

I am interested in hearing your experiences.

I have some friends that do Ambit....will produce some savings....In Chicago...you have to opt out for a change, which is more than likely a big wig in Chicago in Ambit, or another one, that is going to make a commission on all chicago's sigh ups.

My advise, is try one that is non-contractual. But follow up and stay on top of it to see changes and savigs.
