I recently brought an Octopus BH2000. When I brought it home I realized that I don`t have enough clearance to mount it on my tank. I have an in-wall, 2-side viewing and I only have about 5 inches of clearance of the top making it impossible for the collection cup to fit. I don`t have a sump either so putting it there won`t help.
I think the best thing to do at this point would be to mount it on the wall next to the tank and modify the plumbing back to the tank. I`m not 100% certain how to best do this without spilling water everywhere or risking the skimmer falling off.
Any suggestions or solutions would be greatly appreciated.
