alternative clean up crew

i am looking for a clean up crew devoid of crabs snails and shrimp. what do you guys recommend?

bristle worms, asternia star fish, sea hair/ slugs, sea cucumber, fan worms for particulate matter...
sand sifting stars and gobies...yellow tang for algea...i am sure some wrasses will eat algea too, lawnmower blenny...

out of curiousity, why dont you want any of the typical and very functional cleanup crew?

i have a hungry wrasse that like crabs and snails. found out why he isnt as hungry at feeeding time the hard way. i have a yellow tang and one sand sifting star and it is a 180. i wanted a cucumber but i am scared it will nuke my tank as i have a few hermits left that may bother it. is it still safe?
