How much vinegar in a 5g with water looking to clean few power heads

Depends: if it's crudded to the max and you're in a hurry and want it sparkling overnight, figure how to use it straight; but a couple gallons vinegar to five gallons will get there eventually.
The more vinegar, ime, the faster the clean.

Hint: get your vinegar by the 4 gallon box at Costco or Sams. MUCH cheaper.
