400 gallon

High end SPS

Just dropped in a Trio of Cross Hatch Triggers

I'll get some pics up tomorrow

Hah, euphemism for 'overpriced' .... and a litany of silly made-up names.

400 gallon tank sounds awesome though .... I'm already feeling space constrained in my 265.

Ok fine.

Over priced, named, more rare than some other SPS, but super colorful. Lol

Am I crazy?

Small one are collected much deeper than larger male crosshatch. Getting more this Sunday.

My friends have a smaller a 3" and 3.5" males and 2.75" females. But mine are the most colorful so its ok.

There was a 4 inch male in Texas and a 4 inch male in LA about 45 days ago. They were asking twice as much as a normal priced adult male. I wanted too so bad, but I just didn't want to spend the dough.

Yes its double the price but its worth it.

In a 400g I don't think you'll have a problem. A LFS here in NNJ found that they couldn't keep a pair in a 90g without the male beating the sh*t out of the female. They would only "special order" a pair for you. Your 400g should solve the problem. Please let us know if it doesn't...

If you get a juvenile its not a issue in a smaller tank. The only issue juvenile cost 2x more. My pair gets along in 50 gallons qt right now but the trio will be in 435 next month hopefully

..and the females could always turn male, so be ready for that...
when I added my tiny pair to the dt the female changed to male overnight...

Just over 3 inches...

Very Nice, my friends have same size male xhatch but since I have a bigger tank in the group I took the 3.75"-4" plus its the most colorful one so is not bad .. Its still very small for this gentle giant.

Should a get 3 2.5-3" females for a trio since my other friend is taking mine?

They were both under 3 when they came in from Rufus...the female changing to male was a total shock...lol, did a few hundred double-takes when I looked at the tank the next am...
