Am i crazy?

Hi.

I´ve got som brownish polyps that came with my life rock, i tried feeding the the other day, and it seems to me that they´re a litla greener...am i nuts, or is it possible to change the colour of those polyps?

Nah, zoas morph all the time, its very common... G/L and welcome to being a zoa addict.

It seems you're encouraging it already, since it is happening. :) Depending on what it is, it could turn more green under less light, or under more light. You will probably have to just experiment with it to find out which works for this particular coral.

Average zoas can change quite a bit.

When I got these they were brown and cream. The red ring came out under my 250W 14K bulbs.

If there isn't already a name, what would you call these?

Thanks Buttons Buster. LOL all kinds of light encourage the changes. You will have to play around sometimes they like high light sometimes low and it could be different in another tank.
