Am I feeding right?

Hi, I just picked up my first Baby Maxima, and I fed it today. I put him in a little Glad container and pured DT's phytoplankton in there until the water was greeish, and I let him float in there for like an hour and a half. Is that too long? How long should I keep him in there while feeding? Thanks!

you should follow the directions on the bottle for how much to add per gallon of water. start off on the low side and slowly work your way twords the upper end it talks about on the bottle. you dont want to clog its ability to breath. thats the problems people have talked about with bowl feeding. as for the time in the bowl alot of people just wait untill the water shows signs of clearing up. good luck
