some of you might remember my thread tank killin tang well i decide no more tang i dont thing that i am skilled enought for those types of fish yet...so i decide to go with a small tank i had a thirty gal hex that i had put up so i finally broke it out i started setting it it up about a week ago i created a rock formation that i sealed with ge 2 slicon and now its sitting there drying i figure that once i get the hang of a smaller tank that when i decide to upgrade it wont be so hard.....

Its a 30 gal hex no skimmer i figure if i do a 5 gal water change once a week and top off daily that the water quailty will stay pretty clean i have one 350g/h korila powerhead and a heater the light system is going to be 250w 15k halide
Livestock
i have a clown fish and a twin spoted hog and 1 blenny and a serpent star i he east pretty regular and a fish food so i really not worried about him starving the only one im worried about is the conch i decide to go with a bear bottom (well i did put black sand down but i not enoughf for diatoms to grow not really sure how he is going to do i might have to get rid of him i hope i dont have to tho (advice)
next week after the rock harden i plan to fill with water set for anought week to get the water right (i have no sand and the rock still and coraline aglea still on the rock) so i dont think i have to let thing mature and than start stocking the new tank
