I've been treating for it for about a week and a half now. He seems to look okay, then back to this... I have a few more doeses left before I start over.
I'm using kick ich currently.

a pick under normal light would help...turn the blues off

Kick ich will not treat ich. You need to treat with copper, CP, or TTM. As many spots that are you your hippo tang and how small they are, I am possibly thinking velvet. Either way, he needs to be treated in a QT and all other fish too.

IDK for sure but ich in my experience which I'm speaking about what I have seen on freshwater fish is more spread out. Just my 2 cents I would form a decision based on it. I have a microscope and usually try and scrape a sample off the fish and compare it to what I can find pic wise online.

I would assume ich since the fish has had it for more than 7 days and hasn't died, along with all other fish in the tank. Velvet is a quick killer and usually when you see the spots, its already too late.
