I've only had my tank up and running since Dec and I love it!!! But i got to tell you that i have made some rookie mistakes in spite of extensive research. Because of this I have had to be in the tank messing around A LOT and I'm worried that this is stressing out my fish and anemones to much"¦.and me!
Can someone tell me if i am right to be worried about this?

You do want to minimize the stress you put on your livestock, but that said most of what we keep in our tanks is really very resilient. Are you seeing any signs of things going wrong? I suspect you are fine, it's good to be aware that you are placing some stress on the tank but don't worry too much.

They go through much more stress being removed from the ocean and shipped across the world.....while adding additional stress isn't great, I am sure they will be fine.

I agree

Thanks, i appreciate the input. I think i'm more stressed than they are.

Most likely. I think it is of course best to avoid stressing them as much as possible. But if you think about it, most of our fish spend their days in the wild looking for food and trying to not be food for something. Constantly avoiding getting eaten has to be more stressful than seeing your hands in their tank occasionally.

What are you doing to the tank?
For example, changing the rock work around can be super stressful because they lose their safe-place hiding hole and need to stake new territory every time. Glueing a frag to a rock is not an issue at all.

I'm in there every week vacuuming the sand with a big tube, they're used to it. But I'll skip a week if I have a new fish settling in. Just to give him a change to get comfy.

I think if the fish are hiding when you approach the tank, that's a problem. If they are swimming up to greet you and wagging their tails like little puppies for some food - I wouldn't worry.
