Amazing clownfish!!

Thats hilarious Mike. Glad you found him. It's just such a shock, because it is just the farthest thing from what you are expecting.

Look to the left!
I asked about the Mandarin to get a second look.
The reflection.
I had no idea you could raise puppies and monkeys (might be a gorilla) in a SW tank.
Not questioning you..

The only fish I ever named was a perc clown.

A couple of weeks before I moved from one tank to another, he had disappeared and I figured he was a gonner. After I moved everything to the new tank, I shut the old tank down and drained it and it was during the middle of winter, so it very cold in the house.

The next week I got around to dumping the overflow out in the sink and out came the clown fish down into the garbage disposal. I fished him out and ran down stairs to the tank, dropping him on the carpet on the way. How he managed to live for a week in a couple of cups worth of cold stagnant water in an overflow after being in there for a couple of weeks before hand is beyond me.

His name was 'Lucky' from that day forward and I had him for another 5 years until I eventually had to dismantle my tank and give him away.

I meant "this:" as in the quote I was quoting. Get that bugger an anemone.

What? You lost me on this bud.

I see we have a detective in the house, good eye's mysterybird. I had just added a harlequin shrimp to try and take take of the about 100 asterina stars. When he's done in there he will be going into the 55 in wall, and after that into the 65 cube.

I can see the bud on the coral.
But that is not what I was refering to.

Your chubby Mandarin apppears to be kissing the cheek of a
dog with blue eyes in the reflection.

Did you add just one harlequin?
I see 4 bands and assume that you added at least 2 new occupants.

Awsome looking tank by the way!

Should probably consider relocating the YT Damsel though.

Yes the damsel is going back to the LFS when I move everything to the cube. Only new addition was the Harleguin. They double bag at the LFS, so thats why there are 4 rubberbands.

Thanks

My blenny did the same thing. I thought he died and ended up being a midnight snack. But about 2 mo ago I was cleaning my filters and Mr blenny himself was in my overflow.

i had something like this happen once with a lunare wrasse a few years ago. I had an aggressive setup and everything had been wiped out by a bacteria infection epidemic from some foul feeder fish.. anyways, the tank was unplugged with rocks/ water in it for a couple months and i seen the lunare wrasse swimming in there. i couldnt believe it!! he is still alive to this day... cant kill them things!

good story. I had a damsel that lived in a filter sock for about a month.. getting pounded non-stop by 600gph draining water.

That is wild!

I have a Royal Gramma that spent a week and a half in a filter sock. I took the sock outside to turn it inside out and rinse it and out jumps the Gramma onto the cement. He got a little bend in his tail fin for a souvenir that you can still see today (4 years later).
