Amazing product and amazing service!! 10/10

Hi all!

I am relatively new to the hobby and as usual had seen mixed reviews about internet live rock. I did my research and settled on Tampa Bay Saltwater because it said they ship in water, not just damp newspaper. To start with that is 100% true. It came in a nice box sealed in 2 heavy plastic bags filled with water!

I ordered 30#s of live rock, 2 stars, and assorted crabs and snails. Every single one of the critters arrived alive safe and sound and all are still alive after the last 2 days as well! I also received 2 anemone's and a lot of red sponges.

The rock is gorgeous and covered in life. The barnacles are feeding and very entertaining. The sponges everywhere are gorgeous as well as the polyps and the anems. Everything is looking beautiful. 100% of the crabs and snails were alive and there was 0 ammonia spike overnight so essentially no die off at all.

Last, and certainly not least, has been Richards customer service. He helped walk me through the process to get started making sure someone like me didn't make any silly mistakes! He has also checked up on my progress over the last couple of days and answered my questions as I watch the life in my tank bloom! I know the next time i need LR where I will send my buisiness!

How much is shipping running right now? I'm setting up a 110 and will need to order some live rock soon. Debating on buying it local or through TBS. I just think shipping is going to be crazy. But not sure what it is like.

For the 3 boxes (65#'s total) shipped that morning at 1050 for pick up at 3pm was 90 total including the pickup fee's from the airport. It's a fair price for getting that much stuff to you and having it come in water (which adds a bit of weight).

Thanks! I am really happy with it, it's my first tank so I am trying hard to do it right and Richard helped out a ton!
