Amazing things

I lost my rbta a few weeks ago and figured he found a nice place in the myriad of opening and caves in my rockwork. I was wrong. I cleaned out my XP3 tonight and found a blob attached to one of the media baskets. It stumped me as to what it was but I took a chance and carefully pried it from the basket and placed it on my closed loop. To my surprise it is the rbta. I have no clue how he got through the tiny openings for the XP3 but he did.

I hope this little guy makes it.

It gets even more amazing...it is extending it's tentacles. Two weeks in total darkness a few pods in the filter and this thing is still alive.

Is it fair to say I got this anemone at Gateway Aquatics? Chad raises them right!!!

Two hours later and we have bubbles forming. I think it has a chance.

I dropped a few cyclop eaze on it and they stuck and it moved them to the mouth. I am going to try a mysis shrimp next. :-)

I found a couple blobs in my sump when I took down my old tank on the glass. Just small clear blobs. I had no idea what they were, so I put them in the refuge. I had a 15w lightbulb on it and it opened up in about a day and was the same thing.

Mine has moved to the underside of the closed loop pipe and expanded to about golf ball size. He is still very bleached. I did manage to feed it a few pcs. of frozen mysis and it ate them. I am hopeful it will recover but it will not surprise me if it perishes.

24 hour update...it has moved to the underside of the closed loop piping and is looking much better. It has eaten a few mysis and cyclop eaze. I think it has a good chance of making it. :-)
