Hey Guys,

I just wanted to post about my recent experience with Premium Aquatics. Last week I ordered 12 pounds of Marshall nano and 6 pounds of uncured Marshall. I also ordered 16 pounds of the Florida live sand and a pound of their rock bottom crud (woo this was smelly) among various other items.

Attached is a picture (hopefully) of the rock laid out after I received it on Friday afternoon. I couldn’t be happier about the shape, it’s outstanding.

I don’t know exactly why, but my tank has already completed the cycle in under a week - much faster than I expected. It seems like the combination of the crud in a modified AC110 along with some cheato, the live sand, and the rock itself had a nice jump start of bacteria.

As far as hitchhikers go I am a little disappointed, but as I understand it Marshall has always been a little sparse in that area, and it’s still early. One of the largest rocks, an uncured piece has a large amount of worms, unfortunately all but 1 have died before the rock reached my tank, however a fairly large aiptasia was found on a branch and subsequently flushed.

I have also seen a number of isopods, and have hopefully narrowed them down to a species of Sphaeromatid, which isn’t predatory, and good for the tank. I have also noticed an unusual macro algae that i'm still trying to identify that looks really cool - 3 green fingers coming out of a calcified tube about 1 cm long.

Overall I am very happy, the tank looks amazing. Both Jeremy and Jay have been a great help in answering my 10,000 questions, and Jay even took the time to personally deliver my package to the airport due to incoming shipping delays.

I definitely look forward to ordering from you again within the next week or two.

Here is a shot of the aquascaping in case anyone cares.
There are lots of caves, some larger than others, and it seems like the flow reaches most of the tank easily. Btw its a 15g long.

I'm so glad you're happy with the rock. I like the caves you've built with your aquascaping. Once that rock starts to color up again, you're going to have a sweet aquascape.
