Amino Acids and Phosphates

Does anyone dose amino acids and have you noticed an increase in phosphate levels following doing? I am using biopellets so usually have 0 phosphates and 0 nitrates. I tested last night after adding some amino acid supplement and my phosphate was about 0.04 when it usually reads 0.00. I read it this morning and it was up to 0.09. I came home from work today and it was down to 0.02 ppm. Will not add any amino acids tonight and read again in the morning.

As above, amino acids (at least most natural ones) do not contain phosphorus (and therefore phosphates). It is probably something else in there.

Pure amino acids wouldn't contain phosphorus. But I imagine these types of products are protein digests and it would depend on the type and purity of the protein.

Reef Energy B from Red Sea. The only other slight change was reducing the flow slightly on my biopellet reactor but then I increased it again this morning so not sure if that was it or not.

I can't tell what the ingredients are, but I think it's quite possible that the product has some phosphate in it somewhere.
