It's a Nikon D70 DSLR, these were taken with the 18-70 kit lens

I want the D200....but I keep seeing all these great pics taken with the D50 & D70

A friend of mine has the D200, I haven't had the pleasure of getting my hands on one yet, would sure love to.

The camera is 'driver' limited, the D70 is a wonderful camera, i too want a D200, but I'm waiting untill the 18-200 VR is available in the states again to buy it as a kit.

beautiful shot. jus got my D70s yesterday. wonder if you could let me know what are the setting for those shots and how are they taken. I'm very new to photography and have being trying to take close up shot. thanks

All of the images above were taken with the 18-70mm kit lens. I have a SB-800 flash that I used in commander mode, but you don't have to do that. I use it so I can adjust the angle of the light on the fly. Try using your flash, the flash on the D70 will sync at up to 1/500sec, so set your exposure mode to M(anual), try an exposure of about 1/320 sec @ f/5.6, adjust your shutter speed until the histogram has data across the entire exposure spectrum.
