An HDR Full Tank Shot

Been meaning to actually see how well I can put together a high dynamic range series of my aquarium. This is the first attempt, click the red house to see different sizes:

My next attempt I am going to go with more underexposure across the entire range as the sand in this image is blown out across the board.

And yes, I am cultivating HA in my display. :D
 
I've messed around with HDR shots but I haven't been very successful when doing them for my aquarium. I find HDR especially useful for interior shots (I do real estate photography with HDR) but the tank just doesn't look right for some reason.
 
HDR definitely has its uses. The aquarium is more of a challenge to get right than I thought it would be, that's for sure.
 
Oh I don't need to do any HDR shots. my camera can actually do multiple exposures all at once and make it look life like!
