An interesting article on softies

Great article, not only for Softie lovers, but reef keepers of all types.

A highly recommended read.

Thanks very much for the thread. I think this is one of the best reefkeeping related articles I have ever read, and i have read many. There are quite a few myths that permeate our hobby that directy impact our husbandry practices. This article does a terrific job identifying and clarifying many of these misunderstandings. Don't be intimidated by some of the scientific jargon. One can still catch the drift even if some of the terms are difficult. A must read for all aquarists!!!

Fellow reefers, I just read this article on "soft corals" and thought I would pass it on to you. This article may answer many of the questions I have seen posted on this forum.

Well I'm new to reefkeeping. I have a few softies and a few "stonies" in my tank. (the LPS ones).

When I got into this hobby, and trying to learn, I read a lot of stuff, mostly on forums, about different types of corals. SPS, Softies, Mushrooms, zoas etc and for the most part, all that stuff I read replicated the authors article.

So...thank you for posting that. I feel better now.
