Hi all,

Name here is Stu,just moved to Rochester, been keeping tropicals for some 30 odd years although tankless currently and have decided to try my hand at a reef tank.

Current tentative plan is to start in about a month or so and go ever so slowly,

Looking at a JBJ 28g nano and am seriously leaning towards the led version
pair of Korallia nano powerheads in the DT
JBJ skimmer
Stealth 100w heater
around 30lbs of substrate probably a black sand
around 45lbs of live rock

Planning on letting it cycle for 4 - 6 weeks, adding a few Zoa's and "beginner" corals over the summer and making sure the tank stays stable. After a trip to Europe in the early fall the fish stocking plan is looking like -

A pair of clowns
Single Wrasse or Dotty
Sand sifting Goby of some sort

I'm sure to meet some of you at the frag swaps once I finally get the tank hardware here and riunnning

Stu

TO REEF CENTRAL AND URS STU!!!

reef tanks are a slippery slope. you start with a small one with beginner stuff... thousands of dollars later you end up with one that couldnt fit in a yacht. welcome!
