Anacropora

I'm intrigued by Anacropora species, namely because they are uncommon and have a deep-water acro look (smoothish, longish).

I am wondering if anyone is currently keeping this coral. I'm interested in lighting, flow, and growth form. I'm limited in space and read this coral will grow DOWN which I'm not sure will work in my tank.

Thanks for any advice!

Oh cool I have mine in lower light also but just got it. Glad to hear it grows well.[emoji106]
Did your's set down feet then start growing?

Thanks, its called "Thing", its a Cornbread piece. One of my secret favorites. Under actinic its brighter than a green slimer, almost yellow. Insanely bright!

Oh awesome! I like the growth of birdsnest. Would you say Anacropora is similar in care/requirements? That would be nice...

Cornbread has some pricey stuff- how much do frags go for?

I meant is grows fast like a birdsnest. Contact CB for pricing. Its not terribly expensive, but it ain't $20 either. I had to have it though, its so different.
