While waiting for another Anampses lineatus to become available a beautiful female Anampses chrysocephalus became available on Diver's Den.
I picked her up first thing in the morning from Fedex. She was swimming around peacefully in the bag. She didn't look distressed at all. After acclimating her to her own quarantine tank she immediately started to pick through the rock and rubble looking for food.
After 20 minutes in the tank I decided to drop in a tiny bit of mysis to see if she would pick it off the rocks. Not only did she pick it off the rocks but she ate right from the water column!
She has had several meals today and her belly has gotten plump.
I am so excited to get this beautiful fish. I look forward to aquiring an Anampses lineatus as well.
Thanks once again for aquiring such unusual and healthy specimens.
