Been meaning to halve my bta for quite a while, but havent been able to get it out of the tank. On Saturday, after disappearing for a few days, it moved to an area where it was mostly visible, and so I took a chance and cut it in half - right where it was.
The halves disappeared behind the rockwork.
Yesterday - there are THREE BTA'S IN THE TANK.
I'm thinking that maybe the reason it was hiding for a few day is because it was splitting, then when it appeared I whacked it again. Oops.
Anyway, all three seem to be ok, extending and not moving around too much.
Course, the false perc still wants to host the goniopora.
