Anderson Family Reef - 1200 Gallon System

I love that sump look with the water spilling over, hopefully its quiet enough for you.

Also I have to ask with that electrical box under the tank, is that something that's "legal" (up to code) to do? I would think not, but then again I'm not an electrician :D

sfsuphysics - Shhhh thats a custom application I came up with realizing it's better to ask for forgiveness than permission on that electrical action, It's on a GFCI outlet and all the tanks electrical is on its own sub-panel with 6 of 12 - 20 amp breakers bring used.

Bad LS1- a 240 gallon reef is a great size!

laredo300c - Thanks that is awesome...those two dudes are big fish fans and love the rushing water sound

That's great sump building skills!!!! Can't wait to see it in action.
Are you doing anything other than closed loop for water flow?
Lighting?
Corey

kmastin - Thanks Kathy! I love your webcam.

biecacka - I have the closed loop running with the Hammerhead Gold and two 1-1/2" sea swirls running with another Hammerhead Gold. I will add MP60's as needed later on.

Corey - I will be running 400 watt MH (20k Radiums) lights with VHO actinics and some LEDs over the bracing. I will be growing lots of SPS and this lighting combination has worked well for me in the past.
