Never heard of him, but if he is the Maestro there should be info on the internet about him....money back guarantee, but if he takes his money and runs it may be hard to find him in the outback for your refund...

Or, doesn't the club needs a library?

His spiel mimics those get rich quick things you see on late night TV. There's plenty of self-proclaimed "experts" on reef forums that are willing to rehash what they read from An Idiot's Guide to Reefkeeping, but their info doesn't come with $198 worth of free informational books...

Have you read Anthony Calfo's Book of Coral Propagation? I have it, if you'd like to give it a read.

I just came here and searched for his name in the forums, and frankly, if this is the ONLY thread on a site as big as RC that mentions him (which it is), I think I'm gonna pass. Plus, he seems just a little full of himself for my tastes...

I kinda like the "unknown" in this hobby. Trying new and different things, new equipment, cutting edge stuff. I don't think it would be as interesting if someone told me "here are the 10 set rules in stone for a perfect aquarium.". I guess some might like that though, as some people get LFS to maintain their tank while others enjoy maintaining it themselves. Tis a great hobby. Addictive though..... Ha
