You're taking some beautiful pictures, Andrew.

I agree! Now only if i could take shots like that for my setup! Love your fish choices and how cleanly your tank looks set up. Also fits the room really well, must be hard to watch tv.

are they the ones at 183 & mcniel? i think ive been there once? theyre the onse with like 900 tanks in a back shop? i went to this place once, and the guy there showed me this room in the back with tons of tanks!

yeah, thats the one i was thinking of. i tend to favor aquatek. they always have quality equipment in stock, which is something i havent seen in alot of different stores. they have a great selection of fish, and from what i remember i was kinda iffy on the corals. maybe i was there on a bad day??? i dont remember why i thought that tho? it might have been tiny over priced frags or hair algae or something? i honestly dont remember? but they have the most beutifull display reef!
austin aquarium on the other hand.... can we say aiptasia!? all i really remember from them is 10 tanks full of expensive xenia, all covered in aiptasia! maybe i shouldnt share that over an open message board?
am i allowed to comment on that suff here?

So, I have been actively marketing my Gigas clam on the local club boards. It has gotten way to big for my tank. I can't adequately clean the glass around it anymore. I honestly didn't think it would be this hard to sell it.
I'm only asking $200. Don't you think that is a fair price?

I broke the news to my wife a few days ago that soon "The naso will be too big". She wasn't too happy about it, but I have to do whats in the fishes best interest. I'm hoping I can keep it another year before it starts getting stressed for more room.

Note to self: Don't buy stuff that gets too big.

I hate to say I told you so, but I told you so.

LOL, It's hard to foresee the emotional attachment when purchasing. When your buying it's just an asset, then 6 month later it's considered part of the fam.

When it comes to buying fish, I buy ones I plan to keep forever. I get attached to my babies.

$200 seems fair for such a beautiful clam, but I would have to demand the clown be included in the deal. They look sweet together.

Maybe Aaron will take it off your hands, once his new tank is up and running.

I don't know. I can't figure it out. Here a pic. It's really hard to photograph because there is another coral right in front of it. So I can only shoot at a certain angle.

Anyone else have a guess to what it might be?

I finaly got my atinics running! I'm very satisfied with the result. The colors really pop now!

Also, I finally got around to playing with stitching images together. This FTS is three images stitched together.

Man your tank is really coming along Andrew! One more year and this tank will be out of control. I need to come by and see it live.

I'm getting better with my 100mm macro (but not great).

Here is a 1:1 of my watch. Resized, but not croped.

It's easy because the watch is flat. It's to hard to shoot coral because of the depth of field.
