Wow Great tank. I saw your rocks have a lot of coralline algea. My tank had been set up almost 3 months but no coralline algea. Do you dose anything for the coralline algea?
It's artifical I'm slowly begining to get the real stuff now that I've been dosing weekly. I might be adding some corals today if I get time to make a run to the lfs.
The Lemonpeel are known coral nippers. I had one that nipped my zoas and they wouldn't open up. It is very sad because they are so beautiful. Most angels have this problem with corals. I hope yours isn't. Good luck. Nice setup.
I'm taking the risk lol I just picked up some zoas and shrooms for cheap to see how she does with them. Shes been pretty calm and acclimated well. I'm throwing up the idea of doing a much larger sump/fuge behind the wall where my tank is located. Right now I have a 10 gallon under the stand that is cramped.
Update: I'm going to pick up another 24'' coralife T5 unit for cheap and take both apart and make a DIY canopy with 4 bulbs mounted in it. Should give a little better light off as well. As for anything else I also need a new heater as mine is set at 92 and barly keeps the tank at 76 since it's in my basement.
Nope lol It is artifical. Took about 10 minutes and looks great in the tank. Once I get it filled with corals it will cover it and look good from behind.
