My BTA looks like its regurgitating what looks like a piece of a silverside i fed it earlier today? Should i be alarmed? Thanks everyone

Yeah its the same hole but i've seen it poop and its dark brown and slimy usually. Plus I would think it woul take the anemone more than a couple of hours to fully digest just a piece of silverside wouldn't it?

I just want to know if there is something wrong with it or i just gave it too much food?

The piece that you fed it might've been too big. Or, just too much food at once. Try feeding it again tmrw and see if it still does that.

I had the same thing happen with my BTA, but i think I gave it too much fish. I wasn't sure if I should try again the next day so I waited, will try again tomorrow.
How do you know when it's hungry ? how often should you feed a BTA anyway...

Anemones in general routinely regurgitate/emitt waste through the same opening since cnidarians only have one "hole" on their body. The silverside you fed your BTA could have been to large for your BTA to digest. From my experience when I give an anemone something to big for it to digest it usually ends up regurgitated in the tank somewhere with a bunch of crabs on it. There is no cause for concern from what I can tell. Just feed your BTA smaller feedings. In fact, it is actually healthier for the anemone to feed it smaller more frequent feedings since it takes less energy to digest smaller pieces of food.
