About 2 months ago, my anemone split into 4 because he wandered into my overflow. (you can read the thread here)
For the past 2 months, they've been recovering wonderfully. The 3 surviving clones are healthy, have sticky tentacles, and are eating tiny bits of raw shrimp twice a week. They are healthy and growing but..
There seems to be something weird about the smallest one. After the split, i noticed that he was never attached. Sometimes it would look like he was and sometimes he would fall over on his side. What's weird is that he find some way of sitting upright most of the time. Very rarely does he lie on his side. I was hoping that his foot would grow back but there's still no sign of it. Has anyone ever heard of this before?
Another thing worth noting is that i noticed a laceration in his column about a month ago. Mesenterial filaments were visible through the tear but it seems to have closed up now. I'm stumped, help?
Heres a picture of him that i took in January.
