recently have switched a reef tank to a fish and anemone tank.parameters are the same as a reef tank this is a 90 with 50# of lr 20 gal sump hang on refugium.things were great with 3 fla. anemone and 2 sebae all looking great.2 clowns had picked the sebaes.they are fed with brine shrimp once per week.this am one sebae was collapsed this pm it was upside down and deflated.a fla. anemone was doing the same.water temp is 78 ca 450 dkh3 ph8.3.i use kalk water as top off and do a 10 gal water change wkly.what have i done wrong.beach

Were they bleaching at all, loosing any color? There is little to no nutrients at all in brine. Are/were you feeding them anything else? I would suggest switching to Mysis, shrimp, silversides, or any of the other meaty alternatives.

my parameters appear to be fine except ph hovers around 8.35.i think i have enough lr the aquarium is full with swimming room only in the front. i appreciate the interest.the rest of the anemones and fish appear fine.beach
