anemone compatibility

i was wondering what anemones could be housed together without the threat of them attaching each other, ive got a BTA now(maroon with green tips) and will be picking up a GBTA later today, down the road i want to get a carpet anemone aswell...will they all get along?

What type of "carpet"?

Years ago I mixed an BTA (( E. Quadricolor )) with an S. Haddoni, and the Haddoni just wouldn't fully settle in -- moving every month or so. After I sold off all the BTAs (( and made no other changes )), the Haddoni settled in. I even tried it with another species (( M. doreensis )), and the same results.

So, I no longer care to mix species, mixing color morphs of the same species is fine.

One species of anemone per tank seems to be best. I also had issues with my LTA settling in while housing it with my gigantea.

Single species systems seem to work best. Not saying it can't be done. At long beach aquarium they have carpets and btas in the same tank but the system is several thousand gallons.
