Anemone concern

I have a rbta, trying to figure out why when the lights come on he tends to shrink. Today I found him shriveled up with its mouth open any idea why this happens?

I currently have 4 x 54w on a 18deep tank.

Not sure but something is bothering it. Please list all your tank parameters, as well as the age of the setup and how long you've had the anemone. Perhaps we can see something that's off.

Only one white bulb? Should be more white light. Also, the pH is a little low. It looks like it's not too bad off. How long have you had it?

Yea 2blue plus 1 purple n 1 wht. Well I've have it for a few months already, maybe like 3. I got him in bad shape and he started doing good but all of a sudden he started looking like the pics but with its mouth open every morning. Usually feed it silversides every other day.

I would say you're fine in terms of lighting, ATI blue plus produce the highest PAR of any T-5 bulb. I would wonder about the ph being down to 7.8. It's normal for the ph to vary a few points between night and day, but 7.8 is lower than I would want it to be. I would push for 8.3 in the middle of the day after the lights have been on for hours and preferably no lower than 8 in the morning before the lights come on. Opening a window in the room can raise the ph by reducing the CO2 in the air.
