Thanks, except for some bubble algae it has been coming along well lately (knock on wood)

Have you tried emerald crabs? I’ve had mixed results with them controlling valonia over the years.

I have never had good results with emerald crabs or any critter for that matter controlling bubble algae. I've heard pitho crabs like them but from what I can tell they also like burrowing in the sand so a lot of good that does when the bubble algae is on the rocks haha

You can inject the bubbles with hydrogen peroxide to kill it off. Worked great for me.

Love those crabs!
