Anemone debate

I have a 29 gallon aquarium only a few months started... I want a clownfish well a pair in my tank...I have heard keeping anemones is quite difficult for a novice is there any other substitutes a clown will host that would be just as good as an anemone... I'm only gunna have clownfish, maybe a goby and pistol shrimp and I currently have 2 hermits and a nassarius snail in there... I want to have predominantly coral in there so any other advice would also be greatly appreciated

Mine have used, a torch, toadstool, shrooms, and hammer corals. All are easy to care for

Mine used a clam, it's all up to that particular pair of clowns. I've heard of them using Xenia, gsp, etc

If you have a sand bed, a H. malu will fit just fine in a 29 g tank. Malu is relatively easier than other host anemones. Malu need a sand bed and need salinity and temp stability. If you can keep a stable reeftank, they should do just fine.
